1. Ways I enjoy helping customers:
 
I believe the most important principle in helping customers is to bring value to their business.  There’s nothing more enjoyable than being able to provide a product for a customer that not only brings value to their business, but also helps ensure a good working and trusting relationship.  Quite often customers are sold on products that might not actually be the best fit for their structure.  The key is to find where your product fits into their model and at the same time helps grow their business and makes doing business easier.  Once you can establish what will bring value and ease of business to your customer and provide them with a solution, you can develop a long-standing relationship that’s built on trust and ethics.  
 
2. Career and life experiences that make me better at my job:
 
One of the biggest driving factors that help make me better at my job is sales experience with a technical background.  I started off as an engineer, which evolved into a sales role.  I worked in that capacity for about five years and then I completely switched careers and took a position in pharmaceuticals.  Through both of those roles, I learned how to communicate and influence engineers, physicians and healthcare staff to provide value and efficiency to their practice.  These roles have provided me with experience to communicate with people on both a technical and value based level.  Another major shift in my career begin when I took a position with Gicon pumps and equipment and begin to learn the water well and SSE markets for the contractor base in the central region.    Eventually I was recruited to Pentair flow and technologies where I spent eight years as a manufacturing sales rep working with our various distribution channel partners throughout the state of Texas and Oklahoma.  This helped broaden my agricultural knowledge which enhanced my technical skills to provide products and services for various Waterwell and SSE contractors.  This has been a great complement for my current role with Prinsco in the Onsite division of the business and I look forward to a long, exciting and productive career!
